Marcel Wanders
This designer was born in 1963, Boxtel, The Netherlands. He is a person who stands out for himself and his designs. He graduated with honors from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988 and from there began to form his philosophy in design, focusing more on people than objects.
A distinctive and original style that combines comfort, aesthetics and durability.
Wanders opened his Powerhouse studio in Amsterdam in 1995, gaining worldwide attention in 1996. Co-founder and artistic director of the design label Moooi, he works with a variety of international clients.
Chaos is my way of approaching each project, from chaos comes my personal order.
