Design Summit – hosted by Eugeni Quitllet

Last Thursday, the iconic Cubiñá showroom, located in the historic Casa Thomas in Barcelona, hosted the first Vondom Design Summit, a new event format launched by the Valencian brand to share ideas, present product premieres, and strengthen ties with the creative community.

The event brought together more than a hundred industry professionals, including architects, interior designers, and decorators, who attended this exclusive contemporary design gathering led by renowned designer Eugeni Quitllet.

During the evening, two highly anticipated new releases were unveiled: the Madison collection and the new Africa Padded Armchair, both designed by Quitllet for Vondom. The first is an elegant and lightweight proposal that explores the relationship between functionality and emotion. The second, an evolution of the already iconic Africa collection, adds upholstery and comfort without losing its essential character.

Eugeni Quitllet shared his vision of design with attendees, reflecting on the power of plastic as a sustainable material due to its durability and ability to withstand the test of time. “What could be more ecological than a product that stays with you for a lifetime?” said the designer, emphasizing the importance of creating pieces that endure and evolve with us.

With this event, Vondom launches a new series of gatherings where design is experienced, discussed, and celebrated. An opportunity to bring the brand’s universe closer to industry professionals in an intimate, direct format with the unmistakable signature of the firm: hedonistic, playful, and fresh.
