Some places make you forget, just for a moment, that you’re in the heart of Barcelona. Mercader Eixample restaurant is one of them. In its renovation, led by Trenchs Studio, the garden remains the star, and the interior keeps the warmth of a home: a space designed for walking in, sitting down and staying a while.

At Cubiñá Contract, we collaborated on the furniture, combining pieces by Pedrali, Emu, iSi Mar, Jobs and Almecowith solutions created specifically for the project. Our technical office adapted Trenchs Studio’s bench design for both indoor and outdoor use, and we manufactured the benches to measure. We also made the Dekton Marmorio by Cosentino tabletops to measure, mounted on Pedrali bases.

Pieces designed to keep pace with a busy restaurant and become part of the experience for everyone who enjoys it.
