NAUTILUS BY BOWERS & WILKINS: ICON. LEGEND. INSPIRATION.

Classical music and John Bowers’ obsession with reproducing works exactly as the composer or performer would have wanted them to be heard motivated this British man, born in 1922, to found what is now possibly the best speaker brand in the world.

Before his death in 1987, John Bowers tasked his engineers with creating the best loudspeaker in the world, without any considerations for cost or time. In 1993, that dream of achieving true sound became a reality. Nautilus™️, John Bowers’ legacy, was presented as a pinnacle of acoustic engineering.

Nautilus™️ marked a before and after in the sound industry. More than three decades later, this technical marvel is still handmade by engineers and artisans at the Bowers & Wilkins factory in Worthing, England. A total of 26 pairs are produced per year, and the waiting list exceeds 20 months.

Nautilus™️ is an icon and forms the technological foundation of Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers, which are now a reference in the world’s top recording studios, including the famous Abbey Road Studios.
