Kristalia
Cubiñá is an exclusive official distributor of Kristalia furniture with an exhibition in its stores in Barcelona, where you will be able to see and enjoy the Italian design of this prestigious brand.
Jazz as a point of inspiration
Kristalia was founded in 1994 in northwestern Italy by a group of young aficionados of jazz music and design.
With almost three decades of innovation and research, this Italian firm has managed to position itself as one of the benchmarks in the international interior design market.
Jazz has followed alongside the company since its beginnings. Just like with this musical style, Kristalia’s furniture proposals cannot be explained simply. You have to see them, feel them, and leave room for them to complete the interior design project. Because all its collections are created using the same pattern: functionality, sustainability, manufacturing experience, transparency, and innovation.
Evolution or reinvention?
To understand the trajectory of the brand, we must start from its name itself: Kristalia comes from the fusion of two words, “crystal” and “Italia,” and, in the beginning, they were only dedicated to the production of accessories made of glass, but with the arrival of the 21st century, the company decided to reinvent itself and dedicate itself to the design of both furniture and accessories.
Despite having abandoned the production of glass pieces, they decided to adopt one of the characteristics of this material as a kind of philosophy: transparency, that is, a clean, light design that refers back to fragility (without actually being fragile).
Currently, Kristalia collaborates with some of the great names in industrial design, such as Luca Nichetto or Christophe Pillet, as well as always being on the lookout for new talent, which it does not hesitate to support. These collaborations have resulted in iconic pieces such as the Elephant chair series or the Degree tables, now considered classics.
Sustainable Italian furniture
One of the fundamental pillars of Kristalia is its Italian quality seal, but also the concern for ecological responsibility when designing and producing each of the pieces of furniture that make their catalogues creative and environmentally responsible (from beginning to end). As such, all the tables, chairs, and other decorative elements are created from recycled materials: wood, glass, aluminium…
No matter which furniture you choose, they all allow you to equip your spaces with unique design pieces full of rhythm.
