The Italian design revolution
Alias is an Italian brand that has written an important page in the history of Italian design, and has exported the quality of the “Made in Italy” brand to all continents. Alias was created in 1979 in the province of Bergamo by a group of young designers.
Design and technology, together with a coherent image and a targeted marketing campaign, have made Alias products become true icons of quality, with great success worldwide. In fact, the company has almost 1,000 stores around the globe, with a flagship store in Milan, on Corso Monforte.
Its values, embodied in unique designs
Alias’s philosophy is based on three values: innovation, universality, and technological ease:
The company’s innovation takes form through collaboration with international designers, technological orientation, and the use of new and high quality materials.
Universality, another one of Alias’s core values, characterises the collections: essential yet with a unique personality, capable of integrating into any type of environment, from residential areas to garden furniture.
With high quality and constantly evolving production, they are able to adapt to the changing needs of contemporary living and working.
Finally, the technological ease translates into a solid production process, in which local products are obtained, thanks to the collaboration with suppliers located in the district that hosts the two plants.
Eco-friendly designs
Alias works to create ecologically sustainable products that are environmentally responsible and minimise their carbon footprint. Alias’s commitment to the environment is demonstrated in its continuous search for solutions in the context of green thinking.
The company uses innovative materials, technologies, and certification systems endorsed by various organisations.
Its products are made from natural materials such as cork, leather, and wood, and they are able to extend the life cycle of each product by limiting the resources used during the manufacturing process.
