Patricia Urquiola

Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo in 1961. She is a Spanish architect and designer who studied architecture in Madrid and completed her studies at the Politecnico di Milano, where she graduated in 1989.

In 2001 she created her own design studio in Milan, where she currently resides. She is the most prestigious and recognized designer in the world thanks to her approach to design: expressive and sensual at the same time, which extends to all areas. Her designs broke with the minimalism of the 1990s and some of her products are exhibited in several museums. His impressive furniture is characterized by its functionality, without neglecting design.
