Antonio Citterio was born in the Italian city of Meda in 1950. In 1972 he founded his own studio, graduating three years later in Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
In 1999, together with Patricia Viel, he founded his current company: Antonio Citterio and Partners, with international projects that do not hesitate to take advantage of the extensive network of consultants specialized in different areas to tackle each project.
Citterio was a professor at the Faculty of Architecture at the Università della Svizzera Italiana in Mendrisio until 2016 and The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in London wanted to award him, in recognition of his work, the title of “Royal Designer for Industry”.
His creations are very recognizable: functional, with sober lines, but very technically studied, denoting all his architectural knowledge and inspiration.
