10 years of Volta: celebrating with Estiluz and Nahtrang Studio at Cubiñá

Some pieces become classics almost without us noticing. Volta, one of Estiluz’s most recognisable collections, is turning ten, and we wanted to celebrate it properly: at home, surrounded by clients, architects, interior designers and friends of the brand.

On 8 July, we opened the doors of our showroom at Casa Thomas, the Lluís Domènech i Montaner building that is home to Cubiñá, for an evening dedicated to light and design.

A new Volta for a new decade

The highlight of the evening was the launch of the new Volta designed by Nahtrang Studio: a two-tier chandelier with a triangular geometry that takes the collection’s language to a more sculptural scale.

The studio shared with guests how Volta has evolved over these ten years: how a piece can adapt to new styles and new ways of living in a space without losing its essence. A reflection on design, light and permanence that felt right at home in a place like Casa Thomas, where Modernista architecture and contemporary design live side by side every day.

A final surprise: a one-of-a-kind Revolta

The celebration had one last surprise in store: the raffle of a Revolta table lamp created exclusively for the occasion. A unique, entirely hand-painted piece inspired by the Memphis movement, which reinterprets the collection from an artistic perspective and turns it into a true collector’s item.

  • Artistic reinterpretation: Joan Cascante

Light that brings spaces to life

At Cubiñá, we see lighting as an essential part of any project: it shapes how a space is perceived and how it is lived in. That’s why we work with brands like Estiluz, supporting architects, interior designers and clients in finding the piece that best suits each project.

Thank you to Estiluz, Nahtrang Studio and everyone who came to Casa Thomas to celebrate ten years of Volta with us.
